The CREATE Education Project are proud to have been selected and recognised as a featured organisation in the official, one-of-a-kind ‘300 Years of Leadership and Innovation’ commemorative book. Produced in partnership by the History of Parliament Trust – one of the most respected and authoritative research projects in British history – and publisher St James’s House, the publication celebrates leadership in Britain and beyond over the past 300 years.
Launched to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the appointment of Britain’s first prime minister, Robert Walpole, in 1721, and in the year of Her Majesty The Queen’s 95th birthday, the book celebrates leadership across the full spectrum of British society: from Parliament and Crown to captains of industry and those pushing the boundaries of innovation.
This beautifully designed, limited hardback edition of the album was officially launched on the 22nd September 2021 in a star-studded event at Westminster Abbey. We understand that the publication will also be delivered to, among others, UN Heads of State, embassies at home and overseas, members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, members of the European and Commonwealth Parliaments, local and education authorities, schools, colleges and universities.
The official launch of 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation was a truly memorable occasion, with more than 700 guests, including MPs and members of the media, with Paul Croft and Michelle Chatterley attending to represent CREATE Education, all gathering in the historic setting of Westminster Abbey’s Cloisters to attend the presentation of this prestigious publication.
CREATE Education Founder and Director Paul Croft commented;
“We launched CREATE Education in 2014 with a mission to share innovation through 3D printing with everyone! Working in partnership with educational institutions and other youth based organisations, we are bringing new technologies, open-source thinking and like-minded collaborators to make innovation and digital creativity accessible to all and I am extremely proud of the team and the network for all they continue to achieve”.
The 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation Publication is now available as an ebook to view online or download. CREATE Education can be found in the Education and Creative Minds Chapter on Page 258.
