In the Summer term the BAE Systems funded #InspiringLancashire Programme was extended into participating secondary schools for a further 3 years. In this digital skills and careers programme, the additional funding provided Einscan 3D scanners and Mayku desktop formers to complement the Ultimaker 3D printers the schools received during year 1 as well as more teacher training and workshops for 60 students in each school each year.

We recently caught up with two of the schools during one of their student workshop days to see how they are benefitting from the programme, their wow moments so far and how they are adopting 3D technologies in school as a result of the funded programme.
