Training, CPD & Support for 3D Printing and Edtech adoption in the classroom
Adopting new technology in the classroom does not come without its challenges. As a teacher, time is at a premium. Adapting to new challenges on a near daily basis is what you do, from new OFSTED criteria which means rewriting your curriculum to new internal focuses and student needs, the list is endless and a teacher’s work is never done!
Sometimes, there just isn’t the head space and time for creativity – which is a shame for you and your students – as creativity is at the core of what you do. Creativity and problem solving is 90% of the battle in teaching and it’s what teachers are good at!
Cost can also be an issue. Over the last few years, school budgets have been squeezed harder than the last bottle of poster paint in a primary classroom before your new budget allocation. With the pandemic, a falling population and rises to costs in gas, electricity and staff, departmental budgets are being reduced, meaning that new technology sometimes is out of reach.
At CREATE Education, we know the challenges of adopting new technology in schools and this is why we strive to remove these barriers so that young people in the UK and Ireland can access innovative additive manufacturing technology in order to develop their employability skills for the future.
Read on to find out how we do this through our partnerships and our in house expertise.
