Women in Science: Creativity in the Making Exhibition
The Women in Science: Creativity in the Making Exhibition currently on at Liverpool Central Library has been created and curated by the Library Service and was originally inspired by the Liverpool MakeFest Festival.
It has been designed to reflect the diversity of women working within the Science, Technology and Engineering and Maths disciplines (STEM) as well as highlighting the increasing fusion between these fields and artistic and cultural creativity.
The exhibition brings together 12 women to share their experiences and their own stories of inspiration including our very own Head of CREATE Education – Michelle Chatterley and CREATE Ambassador and Liverpool MakeFest Founder Caroline Keep.
By sharing their stories, the exhibition hopes to inspire both young and older women into exploring these subjects and relating them to their own, interests, employment prospects or career development.
The exhibition fits within the Culture Liverpool RISE programme: A season of extraordinary female artists, thinkers & leaders that celebrates inspirational women and is on at Liverpool Central Library from June 7th until August 31st, 2019.
Don’t miss out! You’ve still plenty of time to visit and be inspired.
