Alison Hutchings
A background is based in the arts and theatre, with a BA Hons in English Literature and Cultural Studies.
Alison came into the world of additive manufacturing through her role as a Global Category Manager at RS Components, discovering a love of all things 3DP! Since then developing technical skills and gaining experience in 3D Printing that she never imagined with a background in non-technical arts subjects. Discovering an aptitude for 3D Printing and creative crossover into computer-aided design, Alison has been a passionate enthusiast in the STEM ambassador network, particularly enjoying talking to young people about thinking outside of the box and skills that lie outside of formal qualifications.
Alison has worked with CREATE education since 2016 on projects such as Wigan Digital Festival, a recent collaboration with Imagine-X and is excited about continuing to work together in the future
