Colin Williams – BAE Warton
Hi my name is Colin Williams, I am a trainer/assessor in fabrication and welding, CAD and 3D printing for the aero industry.
To say that I fell into the 3D printing world is an understatement and more to the point if someone had told me 3 years ago that I would be teaching Autodesk inventor and 3D printing, to some of the best students in the country, I would have thought that they were in some sort of dream world.
But here I am, having a ball training/teaching/playing/learning/discovering and above all seeing the students empowering themselves in all that they do.
I am proud and delighted to have been invited to become a CREATE Education Ambassador and look forward to having a long and fruitful relationship with the CREATE Education team.
On a final note I am 63 years of age having the time of my life, so if I can learn Autodesk Inventor and 3D printing just imagine what the youngsters will be able to do? I can only imagine what inspirational ideas they are going to come up with in the future.
