David Jermy has worked for 20 years as a secondary teacher in Design Technology, Art and ICT. As a Head of Department and Advanced Skills Teacher he has developed and delivered many STEM activities throughout schools in North Yorkshire and Cumbria. In 2012 David took part in the National DfE pilot study on 3D printers and more recently has become involved in a European wide study.
He regularly runs courses and training on 3D printing at both primary and secondary levels, so is well placed to reflect on the applications and practicalities of this new technology.
