Qualified Nursery Nurse, HLTA accredited .BA Hons in Primary Education with QTS.
Last 5yrs my school role has been to develop Computing provision working with full classes throughout school, EYFS-KS2 boosting children’s Computing capabilities.
Responsible for planning, resourcing,delivering & evaluating provision.
Liaise with off-site technicians our local IT resource centre,facilitating loans of IT resource equipment staff training days & pupil experience days.
Combining my two passions; Computing and PSHE to set up Interactive Immersive Sensory Room has been a major achievement .
Over the last 2 years, I’ve been encouraging Growth Mindset and Resilience, through a#STEM #STEAM / #MakerEd aporoach both within lessons and through daily lunchtime dropins within the Makerspace I have created in our Computing suite- junk modelling sitting side by side with computing , drills, saws and glue guns.
Lead CAS Master Teacher-recently taken part in CAS Manchester Primary &Secondary days, and also CAS Lancaster secondary day, running workshops in wearables with Arduino Gemma & external outputs, inspired by Jie Qi
Proud Code Club member holding Clubs & other events after school , involving children from the Digital Leader scheme which I began to develop towards the end of the 2014-2015 school year.
Hoping to continue collaboration with the excellent Claire Garside, formerly Research and Play initiative, now co founder of The Foundation for Digital Creativity to encourage interest in coding /computing in general in true hacker/maker style.

Recent involvement in focus groups to develop SOW & awareness in schools with Oxfam and Youth fed around cybersecurity&3D printingvresources with CTEATE Education further enhancing my CPD
