About
Fareham College is a further education college situated in Fareham in Hampshire, England.
The College was formed in 1984 as a merger between an earlier technical college (Fareham Technical College) on the same site and the sixth-form college at the historic Price’s School, a boys’ grammar school on Park Lane in 1984, and became the sole state provider of tertiary education in Fareham.
The college offers unique Higher Education opportunities in Engineering, allowing students to gain new skills and support their careers or study to start a new one. All engineering courses are delivered at Fareham’s CEMAST campus; a £12million purpose-built facility equipped with the latest technology, workshops and industry standard resources.
CEMAST is the central training facility for over 900 Full Time and Part Time Students, and acts as the main learning centre for students in apprenticeship programmes with Fareham’s partner companies. The CEMAST curriculum has been created in partnership with local industry leaders to ensure that students gain the most relevant and up to date industry knowledge.
