On site, they boast a large and varied range of 3D printers for manufacturing plastic and metal parts, coupled with facilities for investment casting of small metal parts such as jewellery (see the current list). They also have a broad range of associated technologies, including scanning, laser welding and laser-cutting. Their dedicated post-production area houses equipment to finish plastics and metals, to ensure your designs are ready to go.

Education is at the heart of PrintCity and they work across multiple disciplines within the University. Outside the University, they’re working with pupils and staff from schools and colleges to bring them up to speed about the very latest technology.
