I am the Autodesk Partnership Development Executive at Connect prior to which I was an Educational Consultant for Autodesk and the Area Leader for Careers and Partnerships at Manchester communication Academy.
As Autodesk Partnership Development Executive, I am responsible for developing the Autodesk training centre and Academic partner Networks across Europe, my main focus areas are Enablement i.e. Fusion360 Design Now, Key Account Management and ATC/AAP Program Recruitment. A key component of this is recruiting and fostering partnerships and developing protocols with Local, National and International stakeholders. This includes developing initiatives and activities in conjunction with our partners for students to provide them with the design skills for further education and employment in a modern digital work environment using Autodesk design
As an Education Consultant for Autodesk I facilitated Autodesk teacher accreditation training courses throughout the UK, I have attended the International schools Conference in Munich, Mapped Autodesk resources to the International Baccalaureate and actively engaged in writing teaching resource materials for Autodesk. I am an active member of the Autodesk International Education council, attending conferences, engaging with senior Autodesk personnel and consulted on Educational change. I also worked closely with the education team at Vex robotics in developing educational resources for the UK.
As Area Leader Careers and Partnerships I was responsible for the development of an innovative approach to Careers and Partnership management. Prior to this I was Lead Professional Science & Technology, I set up an innovative Technology department with a large emphasis on modern digital technologies and current industry trends, monitoring department quality and performance to help inform staff CPD plans. Continually monitoring key trend of the education industry. Prior to moving into the education field I spent 18 years in industry, in a wide range of fields, my last 8 years in industry was as the UK Contracts Manager being responsible for the UK Contracts Department managing a team of field sales engineers, field project managers and support staff, I also was responsible for the processing of global export sales contracts and liaising throughout with our global partners.
