Dr Tim Minshall
Tim Minshall is a Reader in Technology and Innovation Management at the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering, and Director of Innovation and Engineering Outreach at Churchill College Cambridge. His research is focused on open innovation, the adoption of 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing, and engineering education. He is actively involved in outreach activities to raise awareness of engineering among primary and secondary schoolchildren, edits the ‘What Engineers Do’ blog (www.whatengineersdo.info), and is enthusiastically curious about the role that 3D printing is having in changing perceptions of engineering.
