Troubleshooting

One of the most common problems in the classroom with 3D Printers is a blocked nozzle or under extrusion where the material is passing through a partially blocked nozzle. Dirt or carbonised material can build up inside the nozzle or another hot end part, causing your print walls to become thin and stringy.

It is recommended that you clean the nozzle of your 3D Printer by performing an ‘Atomic Clean’ from time to time to prevent this. The same process can also be used to unblock the nozzle.
