In this lesson, pupils will practice letter formation and practice writing their name.
The addition of 3D printing provides an incentive for pupils to practice and develop their handwriting, specifically writing their name neatly.
Once students have practiced writing their name, they have the opportunity to write it neatly onto a 2D template and have this 3D printed as a “Name Stand” for their desk or to take home.
This is a great activity to encourage pupils to write their names neatly and the 3D printed name stand can be a reward to celebrate their achievements and provide them with something they can be proud of.
